Brain Tickler is a calm, ad-free math trainer for the whole family. Pick a topic, pick a level, and answer as many questions as you like. Twelve topics with 1,200 questions, sixty drawing puzzles, and three difficulty tiers each. No accounts, no ads, no tracking, no internet. Everything stays on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. Brain Tickler never connects to the internet. All questions, puzzles, music, and sound effects are bundled with the app or generated on your device.

Where is my progress stored?

Best scores, streaks, and paused sessions are saved only on your device, in the app's private storage. Nothing is sent anywhere. Deleting the app removes all saved progress.

How do I start a topic over?

Open any topic and tier you have played before. You will be offered Resume or Start over. Choosing Start over discards the paused session for that topic and tier.

There is no sound or music

Open Settings inside the app and check that Music and Sounds are turned on. Then check your device: on iPhone and iPad the ring/silent switch mutes app audio, and on both platforms the media volume must be up.

Can I turn on a timer?

Yes. In Settings, turn on the per-question timer and pick 15 to 60 seconds. When time runs out the answer is shown and the next question appears.

I think a question or answer is wrong

Please tell us. Email the address below with the topic, the difficulty tier, and the question text as it appears on screen. Every question is checked by automated tests, but mistakes can still slip through and we fix them in the next update.

Is the app suitable for children?

Yes. Brain Tickler is designed for children as well as adults. It has no ads, no in-app purchases, no links out of the app, no accounts, and collects no personal information.
